We have an eight-year-old daughter, the best kid on the planet. She's gotten to that age where she is capable of taking on some household tasks but still in that self-absorbed phase (which I know extends into the thirties!) of not wanting to help out.
I decided to put some of the techniques from Agile development to the test. We now have household "sprints" with planning sessions, burndown charts, and retros to point out and complete the various household tasks that keep a home running.
This is just a fun side-project for the family, to convert the currently utilized ToodleDo task list and manual chart to an application on the iPad.
